As Chief Relationship Officer of Ethos Companies, Josh is responsible for the effectiveness of revenue operations and aligning business development and talent recruitment with the company’s mission and values. Josh is also the Executive Managing Director of Ethos Commercial Advisors and in addition to managing ECA’s operations, Josh has deep expertise in office, industrial, land and multi-family investment sales, agency leasing, and tenant representation. As a Portland native and 5th generation Oregonian, Josh cares deeply about the vibrancy of the Pacific Northwest.

Josh leverages his local relationships and extensive market knowledge to present Ethos’ clients with exclusive opportunities. Drawing on his diverse background in real estate, he is able to fine-tune the performance of a building in anticipation of a sale to maximize value. Additionally, Josh helps clients uncover unique opportunities to strengthen and diversify their investment portfolios. Helping businesses create real estate strategies to support their growth is his passion; be it through strategic acquisitions, dispositions, or lease transactions.

Josh began his real estate career in 2007 at Doug Bean & Associates, Inc. before co-founding Ethos Commercial Advisors in 2017. Josh has successfully completed over 750 lease transactions and 100 sale transactions for over $1 billion dollars of total transaction value.

Josh studied real estate finance at Portland State University, is an SIOR designee, is a member of the Commercial Association of Brokers, CCIM, and holds principal brokers licenses in Oregon and Washington. He is also a member of the Oregon Bio Association and is co-chair their facilities committee. In addition to his professional endeavors, Josh is on the board of SOLVE, a Portland-based environmental non-profit, and does pro-bono work on behalf of non-profits to help them evaluate, develop, and execute on real estate strategies.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time mountain biking and hiking with his wife and their two Australian cattle dogs.
